The Ecell Department of Usha Pravin Gandhi College hosted its flagship event, Baazar-E-Upg, on February 1-2, 2024, at Mithibai Admission Area. Themed around “Pop Culture,” the event provided a vibrant platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their businesses.  

Day 1 Highlights: 

Inauguration: The event commenced with an inspiring inauguration ceremony led by Principal Dr. Anju Kapoor, setting the tone for two days of entrepreneurial enthusiasm. 

Games and Stalls: The venue came alive with various stalls presenting innovative business ideas, captivating attendees from 9:30 am onwards. 

Open Mic Performances: Aspiring talents across disciplines took the stage during an open mic session, showcasing their raw skills and captivating the audience. 

Afternoon Entertainment: Engaging games and captivating performances kept the energy high, providing a dynamic and entertaining atmosphere. 

Day 2 Highlights: 

Store Galore: The vibrant stalls reopened, offering attendees another chance to connect with young entrepreneurs and explore innovative products. 

Performances and Flashmob: Day two featured captivating performances and a high-energy flashmob by “Heads and Core,” adding an extra layer of excitement. 

Entertainment: The afternoon featured more games and activities, engaging attendees and adding joy to event 

Closing Ceremony: The event concluded with a grand closing ceremony at 6:00 pm, marking the successful end of two days dedicated to showcasing young entrepreneurial talent. 

Overall Impression:  

Baazar-E-Upg was a resounding success, with the Pop Culture theme providing a lively backdrop for the event. The well-organized and executed program featured a diverse range of activities, including games, stalls, performances, and more. Principal Dr. Anju Kapoor’s presence during the inauguration added prestige, and the closing ceremony provided a fitting conclusion to this celebration of young entrepreneurship. 

The event’s success not only showcased the creativity and innovation of the participating entrepreneurs but also created a memorable experience for attendees. Baazar-E-Upg served as a testament to the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit within Usha Pravin Gandhi College.
