Foodpreneur, one of the flagship events of ECELL, took place from August 21st to August 25th, 2023, at the UPG 3rd-floor foyer. This five-day extravaganza was a platform for students to learn and earn money by showcasing their culinary skills and promoting their small food businesses. Each day had its unique theme and menu, offering a delightful experience for both participants and visitors.

Day 1: Inauguration and Cookie Delights (21/08/23)

The event kicked off at 9 a.m. with an inauguration ceremony. The menu for the first day featured delectable Biscoff and Choco-chip cookies, sold by the UPG student-owned brand, 'The Buttercream Bakers.' To engage the crowd and boost sales, the E-cell committee set up a 'Challenge Booth,' where participants had fun with customers. The day also featured a "bff challenge," pitting friends against each other. Special guests included the former president and vice presidents.

Day 2: Mexican Monaco and Strawberry Soda (22/08/23)

Day 2 presented the delightful combination of 'Mexican Monaco' and 'Strawberry Soda,' attracting a huge crowd. By 1 p.m., the stall had completely sold out. The event heads organized a 'chubby bunny challenge,' offering free marshmallows to participants. Gift meals for the committee in-charge professors strengthened the bond between the event heads and professors.

Day 3: Spicy-Cheesy Delights and Blue Lagoon (23/08/23)

Day 3 featured the stall owners' spicy-cheesy 'Mexican Bhel' and the refreshing 'Blue Lagoon' drink, resulting in enormous profits and exceptional sales. The stall owners showcased their entrepreneurial skills by introducing innovative combo meals, which proved to be a hit among customers, helping them learn and earn more.

Day 4: Street-Style Chinese Bhel and Cake Pops (24/08/23)

Day 4 brought a taste of the streets to the college with 'Chinese Bhel' and 'Cake Pops.' The strategic decision to pair spicy street food with dessert was a brilliant move, enticing everyone to try both. The 'Hula-hoop challenge' added to the excitement and made the day unforgettable.

Day 5: Freshman Innovation and Club Sandwich Delights (25/08/23)

On the final day, freshman students had the opportunity to showcase their innovative and marketing skills. The stall featured favorites like 'Club Sandwich,' 'Mexican Canapes,' and 'Cold Coffee.' The canapes, with their crunchy texture, cheesy filling, and hint of tanginess, were a crowd favorite. The stall sold out by the end of the day, and the 'Whisper challenge' brought fun and laughter as visitors and teachers tried to decipher funny lines. The event concluded at 3 p.m., with President Janvi Kapur delivering the closing remarks.
