On October 4, 2023, the Entrepreneur & Innovation Cell of UPG College hosted an exclusive event titled “Mini Corp” to provide its members with valuable insights into the workings of the corporate world. The event was met with great enthusiasm from ECELL members, who gathered eagerly to gain a deeper understanding of corporate dynamics and prepare themselves for future career endeavors.

The Mini Corp event was a great opportunity for ECELL members to learn and
grow. The event consisted of two rounds:

Round 1:

6 groups were formed (Sales, Finance, Marketing, Human
Resources, Research & Development and Operations) Each group was given two situations (Click here to see the questions) to discuss and come up with a solution in 10 minutes. The groups then presented their solutions to a panel of board of directors.

Round 2:
Each group was given a case study related to their department of ITC Company (Click here to see the case studies). The groups had to select the most appropriate answer from 4 correct answers.

After the two rounds, there was a music jamming session and a quiz round. The event concluded with the announcement of the results. Team Marketing won the event, followed by Team Operations as the runner-up.

The Mini Corp event was a fun and informative experience for all participants. It was a great opportunity for ECELL members to learn about different business functions and to work together to solve problems. The event also helped to build camaraderie among the ECELL members.
